As the 2017 football calendar draws to a close, The Saint Lucia Football Association Inc. invites its affiliates to its annual football summit. Scheduled for the 14th of October, the first of two summits will be held at the conference room of the Palm Haven Hotel and will be primarily for the leagues of the northern and southern regions. A second summit of a similar agenda will be held on the 4th of November at the conference room of the NSDC building in Vieux Fort to accommodate leagues of the East and West. The summit is to be organized and executed in a format which favours heavy interaction and participation from the audience. Salient issues affecting football in the various leagues and by extension on a national level will be deliberated upon at the summit. The SLFA president Mr Lyndon Cooper is expected make a presentation on the recently implemented SLFA strategic plan 2020 .He is expected to give the association’s progress report in that regard and to also delineate the organisation’s plans for football in 2018. Other presentations pertinent to every facet of administrative operation of the SLFA will be touched upon at the summit. Leagues will be permitted a maximum of four representatives to participate in the summit. The executive and staff of the SLFA looks forward to a very engaging and fruitful discussion at its 2017 northern and southern zone summit.
